Understand what the land can support.
Soil conditions were studied before structural decisions were finalized, reducing uncertainty and grounding the project in evidence.

Selected confidential case study / Southern Costa Rica
A confidential residential project developed through one connected process—from property and technical evaluation through architecture, engineering and construction direction.
The commission
HOPE.hc brought land assessment, geotechnical studies, topography, architecture, engineering and budget coordination into one clear direction. The purpose was not simply to design a house, but to make every decision respond to the land and support the path to construction.

Soil conditions were studied before structural decisions were finalized, reducing uncertainty and grounding the project in evidence.

Survey data established levels, access and site relationships so the design could work with the hillside instead of against it.
03 / Design development
Site knowledge is translated into spatial organization, structure, climate response and constructability. Technical coordination begins while the architecture is still being shaped.

HOPE.hc construction experience / Southern Costa Rica04 / Cost & construction
HOPE.hc brings established construction experience to every residence— connecting cost planning, procurement, sequencing and on-site direction from the beginning.
Design direction
The residence is shaped for tropical living through generous shade, controlled openness, durable materials and a quiet relationship between interior space and landscape.
